Proven as a first class plant operator, Derek also has machinery in excellent order. He is capable of running his own gang, based around his equipment. Derek's experience and knowledge of groundwork’s and pipe laying is extensive and played a large part in the completion of the Didcot scheme. Numerous buried services proved a big headache in the construction of the new link road, but with Derek's help and skill there was little disruption.
